OUR STORY
Our family comes from a long line of coach builders. Olivier and Jean-Pierre THEAULT are the sons and grandsons of Emile and André THEAULT, both coach builders. They joined their knowledge and expertise to found MTM - Manche Techni Metal - in 1996.
In more than 20 years, MTM has grown to become a recognized brand on the European market. Our clients come from various background and trust our know-how: stud farms and breeding stables professionals, equestrian sport riders, professionals of horse show competitions, racehorses (flat racers and trotters), transport professionals and private individuals.
We work carefully on all necessary steps to produce your vehicle, from the original idea and conception in our design office to panel-mounting, assembling, woodworking, painting and finishing stages. All the work is carried out in our 4030M² production workshop located in Pontaubault (Manche department) at the heart of Mont Saint-Michel Bay.
We are proud to be a human-sized company and our team has remained stable for years, which allows for a direct exchange with our staff to best serve your needs during the design and the production process. We are also keen to constantly innovate to defend our local manufacturing facility: our current production site hosts a new generation computerised machine for panel-mounting, rubber cut out parts and cuts of various material.
In order to extend our scope and to guarantee quality products, we also channel our expertise into polyester production (deflector, hard-tops, alcove) and saddlery manufacturing (leather workshop on new and second-hand vehicles, upholstery and cushions…).
